Rooted in the rhythm of the arts.

The International Arts Festival South Africa (IAFSA) is a landmark celebration of creativity, culture, and connection. Launching in 2028, the festival will bring together existing festivals, artists, audiences, and industry leaders from across the world — showcasing the richness of South African creativity alongside innovative international work across all art forms.

From performances to exhibitions, community initiatives to global collaborations, IAFSA is designed to inspire, uplift, and unite. Rooted in South African identity and powered by The Arts Elevation Foundation NPC and in partnership with AfriArtsConnect, the festival aims to open new pathways for artistic exchange, economic growth, and cultural dialogue.

Honouring our roots. Igniting new possibilities. Elevating the arts.
